Recent Storms have taken a toll on the Morton Trees in our front Yard.
Monday, July 21st, 2008, a storm hit with a forceful wind. This was also Tabi's birthday.
Before the Storm... Recently I began making a walkway path to the mail box. The day of the
Storm I had just arrived home from work, walked through the house, out the front door to the mailbox to retreive the mail.
I could tell it was about to storm when I reached the house I tossed the mail inside and turned to get the box UPS had left
on the front porch. The wind caught the door with a force and I stood watching as the limbs began to fall... right where I'd
walked only moments before.
