This is the car that started it all with Mustangs and my family. I bought this 96' Mustang
new July 5th, 1996. I'd searched far and wide for the car that I knew I would drive for a very long time. It took me many
a trip to Valdosta, GA when Tabi, Brad & little Ryleigh lived there. When I began making the trip across the state to
visit Bud, my little Mustang escorted me every trip. After 206,000 miles and 10 years I knew if I was going to continue traveling
as I did I needed to upgrade. I ordered my 06' Mustang GT on July 5th, 2005. Ten days later my little green mustang threw
a stomping fit and blew a freeze plug! Since I had a new GT on the way I had no desire to invest any money in my 96'.
That's when my son, Kris showed an interest in the car. He pulled the engine, repaired the freeze plug and has been driving
"The Stealth Stang" ever since. Last count it had 251,000 miles! Since Kris is Chief
Painter at a body shop he's always doing little things to it to improve it's performance with plans of upgrading to
a V-8 in the very near future. We'll keep you posted!
