Car Explodes
In Crash with Gravel Truck
The day began as any other,
How could we have known.
God had waited long enough,
He was ready to take her home.
As we went about our normal day,
God set His plan in motion
To wisk her swiftly away
It was not by mere notion.
He had lent her to us
As long as he could,
He loved her too,
So our grief he understood.
Not only Granny,
but Aunt Chunk too,
Two lovely ladies
We shouldn’t be blue.
For quick as a wink,
Both were gone
To our Savior’s side
Being welcomed home.
As tears flowed down our cheeks,
And our hearts began to ache,
Granny & Aunt Chunk
Were walking through heaven’s gates.
Why now? Why this moment?
We cry out through tears.
We’re not ready to give her up-
If only we had a few more years.
And for that matter,
what’s up with this?
Taken from us
only days before her birthday
what timing is this!
With each birth, the angels sing
As a soul is brought forth
Into this world by God’s design
To accomplish His purpose of worth.
Could it be God chose this time
Planning a heavenly celebration
For his child on her birthday
Cause she went beyond her reason for creation.
A birthday party ever so Grand
Comprehension of such
here on earth
We are not capable to understand.
Angels making birthday cake,
Saints of all the ages,
Singing songs of her life & birth
Trumpets blowing as the party rages.
Invited to the vast celebration
Was Sister Aunt Chunk
Who had lived her life as God designed
Her purpose fulfilled with great spunk.
God knew the trip would be a journey.
Together, they took that magnificent step,
Hand in hand they met their maker
Sisters, from this world, they lep.
Now, each day is difficult
Even though we know we shouldn’t
Had we not loved her so,
Her passing, bother us, it wouldn’t.
We were not invited
To her heavenly birthday party.
The reason is, our purpose here
On earth is not completed.
We still have work to do
To fulfill God’s design,
To do what we were put on earth
To accomplish for Jesus Christ.
Although our hearts are still heavy,
We thank the Lord above
That He blessed us with Granny
To know, hug and love.
